Today's Thrifty Treasure

Rhoda at http://southernhospitality-rhoda.blogspot.com/ just started a fun Monday post called Today's Thrifty Treasures. I love this idea, I love to yard sale and find a treasure for little money. In my neck of the woods it is bulk pickup time and my treasure for this week is the beautiful creamer and teapot that I found in the trash!! I previously purchased the platter and was waiting to find a pot but who would have thought I would find one in the garbage.
What is another man's trash has certainly become my treasure. Mary

I can't believe you found that in the trash! Amazing!

About the glass garden totems..here's the link to photos on my blog. They are super easy, a great way to recycle old glass dishes, vases, etc.

And a "totem on a stick" here, along with a glass bird bath I made:

Why would anybody throw that out? I'm can't believe it, you actually got it free. You lucky girl! I have several coffee and tea sets in gold. One of these days I"ll probably get rid of one, but I'm not going to throw it away. So don't even think about picking in my garbage. Ha ha YOU ARE GOOD!
