Each morning I enjoy looking out my window at the suet feeder to see who has come to join me for breakfast. Today's guest was this beautiful woodpecker.
If I had to choose, I would rather have birds than airplanes. Charles A. Lindbergh
Hi Mary, I wanted to tell you this on your email, but I didn't have it, so if you don't mind I'm putting it on your comment list. Thank you so much for leaving a comment on my post concerning my sister. Very sweet of you to do that. I'm not sure how old you are, but looking back at the pictures it brought many happy tears from so long ago. Yet it seem like yesterday. Time surely doesn't wait for no one!
I'm a recently retired baby boomer who is determined to tackle all the projects and hobbies on my to do list!
My current obsessions are eating healthy, birdwatching, stamping and lastly, nesting my home. Please join me for the journey.

I would have to agree with Mr. Lindbergh 100%...
Wow, so special!! We get Acorn Woodpeckers here in Southern California, chattering away in our oaks.
Just so you know, that is a Northern Flicker. In the woodpecker family, of course :-)
