This was another one of my side of the street finds. It's solid as a rock and I decided to strip it. Big, big mistake! It took hours and hours of labor intensive work and it's still not done. I did sand the top completly, stained it and it looks a mess! So, it's back to the drawing board!
This is going in my living room and will house my stereo equipment. I was thinking of painting it in 3 shades of cream. Maybe some aging or distressing...

Hey, Mary! I thought that was you, so glad you came by to see me. And yes, I am using my new vac. on my wood floors. I have wood & carpet & there is a lever to step on that adjusts it up and down for bare floors or carpets. I do not see any scratches at all on the floors. The wheels and sides are all plastic. I may have to be careful of the beater bar, but I can raise it up & hopefully it won't be a problem. I'm still getting used to is, as it is a little different than my old one.
