Rhoda's Thrifty Treasure Monday

I didn't go to any garage sales this weekend so I decided to post a picture of this little cabinet I use in my bath. It was a freebie, a co-worker was cleaning out his fathers tool business and he had a bunch of stuff that was headed to the trash. I found this cabinet, painted it, added a shelf and it's new home is my bathroom. I hope to find nicer containers to put my toiletries in, but it works for now. Also, the towels I added the crocheted trim to, just to jazz them up a bit.
Be sure to stop by Rhoda's http://southernhospitality-rhoda.blogspot.com/ and see what everyone else has found.

Well, the saying is true "one man's trash is another one's treasure" and you certainly proved that! Glad you have an aye of "possibilities" cause that cabinet looks perfect in your bathroom! :-)

Oh Mary, I didn't see you on Pink Saturday's birthday. Well, since I know you've been part of it then if you have time you can still blow your pink candle and have a brownie :-)

You fix is darling and I love the baskets.
You know that reminded me of the cabinet I found some years back at a church garage sale. It had been in the church hallway and is real narrow as far as depth but is wide, has doors and is perfect for bathroom things and I have it behind the door. It was even the right color and I didn't even have to paint it. I love those type of garage sale items!! I didn't find anything this weekend either, there weren't many to go to. I don't know why because the weather was absolutely perfect for sales.

Mary, that's a really cute cabinet. Thanks for joining in today. If you could, read up on how to do a permalink. I explain it in my post. You and many others are just linking to your blog url and not your thrifty post. I'm fixing it now, but please next time try to get the right post on there. I have to go back & fix all the ones that aren't linked right & it takes a lot of time. Thanks a bunch!
