What is your favorite time of year? Mine is most certainly Autumn. I am invigorated by the season. There is a certain feel to the air, cleaner, crisper..energizing! Yes, that's it, I'm energized by Fall. I want to cook soups, pick apples, bake pies..spend as much time outside before our hours of daylight are shortened. I love to hike in the fall. Today I spent four hours at Wawayanda State Park in Northern N.J. hiking. The picture is of an area that I never saw before. Doesn't this picture show that fall is around the corner? I think so and it makes me happy..

I just discovered your blog via Pink Saturday and I think we may live close to each other. I used to live in Warwick and spent time in Waywayanda State Park. I worked at the prison on Kings Highway before I retired. Now I live in Thompson Ridge which is about 40 minutes from Warwick.
Isn't upstate NY beautiful?
