Garden Tour-House #1

(My purchases from the plant sale)

My town's local garden club has a garden tour every June to raise money for the club's projects in our town. It's a wonderful day, it starts in the town green that is maintained by the club with a plant sale. They also have a raffle with lots of great gardening gifts. Each ticket of 15$ includes a map and booklet about each homeowners garden on the tour and then off you go to visit one garden lovelier than the next. It's a great day! Remember you can click on each picture if you want to see more detail. Lots of great inspiration here!

Oh I love plant sales too! Looks like a fun time at the garden tours. Those are great this time of year & I really get into gardening too.

OK, on the permalink thing. You'll notice your blog address is marye-contrarymary.blogspot.com,(with the tags in front http:. Once you do a post (like for the thrifty party), click on the title of THAT post & your link will be your blog name, plus it will have the tags for that post name. You'll need to copy that whole url string & copy that into the blank for the party. That is what a permalink is, a link that goes directly to the post you want people to visit, not just your blog address. Make sense? If not, email me! It's really easy once you get the hang of it.

Every July we have a garden tour to benefit our local animal shelter. It's so much fun to travel from house to house with friends, camera in hand, gaining ideas and filling your senses with beautiful images.

I just loved this post and seeing the gardens and all the beautiful flowers. Looks like you got some bargains. I get so excited when I get new flowers and have to decide what to do with them. Thanks for taking me on the tour and thanks for coming by my place.

What fabulous gardens! Makes me miss Minnesota seeing hostas and lush green grass. My blog topic today is about a man, a dog, a love story, and a bit about embroidery. Please stop by if you have a moment.

I would loved to have been on that garden tour with you. That is my kind of day.
I clicked on every picture to enlarge and studied them. Just beautiful.
You selected some gorgeous plants.
Thanks for visiting me and if you scrolled thru my blog at all you'd see I visit gardens as much as possible. Just love them.

How pretty!!
I haven't seen any garden tours, but I bet they have them around here too.
At Christmas time they have open houses and you can go look at these million dollar homes and how they decorate for Christmas, it's kind of cool! :)
